Anderson Silva did indeed fail his fight night drug test at UFC 183, and we now know for which substances he tested positive.

MMAJunkie.com's Steven Marrocco revealed the substances via the Nevada Athletic Commission's latest complaint against Silva on Twitter this afternoon.

Breaking: Andrerson Silva tested positive for Oxazepam and Temazepam, two Benzodiazepines, from Jan. 31 NSAC test reported Feb. 3.

Jan. 31 urine test also found drostanolone metabolites, per NSAC complaint.

Oxazepam and Temazepam are typically prescribed as anti-anxiety meds and to combat insomnia. The drostanolone metabolites are the same drug Silva tested positive for in his random January 9 drug test.

Penick's Analysis: So Silva tested positive for drostanolone metabolites on January 9, did not test positive for them on January 19, and then did again on January 31. Anyone hoping his contention that his January 9 test was indeed due to lab contamination have to feel that hope crushed with this latest result.
