Further ratings are in for Saturday's UFC on Fox 14 event, with Jason Floyd from TheMMAReport.com reporting on Twitter that the event peaked with 3,646,600 viewers during the main event in the final quarter hour.
The event didn't go over the timeslot, so the numbers weren't boosted by an overrun as with past events, but with west coast viewership taken into account, the average viewers for the two-hour broadcast bumped up to 3.049 million viewers.
That still significant number keeps it as the most watched UFC on Fox event since April of 2013 and UFC on Fox 7, which was headlined by the Lightweight Championship bout between Benson Henderson and Gilbert Melendez.
Saturday's card was headlined by Anthony Johnson's upset win over Alexander Gustafsson in front of 30,000 fans in Stockholm, Sweden.
Penick's Analysis: These are great numbers for the UFC as compared to the rest of their Fox events. This has been a very good month for them from a business standpoint, and if they can add another 400,000+ pay-per-view buys this weekend from the Anderson Silva-Nick Diaz main event at UFC 183, it could be one of their biggest months ever as an organization.
