Australian flyweight Richie Vaculik is having trouble keeping opponents for next week's UFC Fight Night 55 event.
Ireland's Neil Seery stepped in last month when Vaculik's originally scheduled opponent, Ray Borg, pulled out with an injury, and now Seery himself has been forced out with an injury of his own.
Vaculik will remain on the card, though, as the UFC announced on Tuesday that Hawaii's Louis Smolka has stepped up on just over a week's notice to take the fight. Vaculik hopes to win his second straight fight in the UFC, while Smolka hopes to play spoiler, while hoping to bounce back from a loss to Chris Cariaso - his first ever - in May.
The UFC Fight Night 55 card takes place on Nov. 8 from Sydney, Australia, headlined by the middleweight bout between Michael Bisping and Luke Rockhold. The event will air live on UFC Fight Pass in the U.S. on Friday, Nov. 7, due to the time difference.
