A middleweight fight between Ildemar Alcantara and Richardson Moreira is coming to the UFC 183 prelims in January, the UFC announced today.
Alcantara, brother of UFC bantamweight contender Iuri, dropped to welterweight after a light heavyweight win in his UFC debut on short notice. He's gone 2-2 in that division, most recently dropping a decision to Kenny Robertson at UFC 175 in July.
Moreira was a semifinalist on "The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil 3" this spring, and he hopes to bounce back after a KO loss to Rogerio de Lima on the show's finale event in May.
UFC 183 takes place from Las Vegas on January 31, headlined by the middleweight bout between Anderson Silva and Nick Diaz.
