21 months after his last fight, Dan Miller returns to the Octagon - and the middleweight division - on Dec. 20 when he takes on Daniel Sarafian.
The UFC announced the bout for UFC Fight Night 58 on Thursday, which will take place from Barueri, Brazil, and will air live on Fox Sports 1.
Miller, brother of UFC lightweight Jim Miller, dropped to welterweight in 2012, and picked up a win over Ricardo Funch. However, he then lost to Jordan Mein by TKO in March of last year.
He returns to 185 lbs., where he went 5-5 through ten appearances in the division, with his losses coming against all well known names in Chael Sonnen, Demian Maia, Michael Bisping, Nate Marquardt, and Rousimar Palhares.
The 32-year-old Sarafian made it to the finals of The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil, but his debut was delayed due to injury. He made his official debut in January of last year, but has lost three of four fights thus far in his UFC run, most recently getting submitted by Kiichi Kunimoto in June.
UFC Fight Night 58 will be headlined by a middleweight bout between Lyoto Machida and C.B. Dollaway.
