Undefeated Alaskan heavyweight Jared Cannonier will make his UFC debut this coming January, as he'll take on Shawn Jordan at UFC 182.
The UFC announced the bout on Thursday.
Cannonier has won seven fights to kick off his MMA career, most recently defeating Tony Lopez in a five round decision in January. That was the first fight of his to go the distance, as he also has three TKO victories along with three submission wins.
The 16-6 Jordan avoided three straight losses in the UFC in his last fight, stopping Jack May in the third round in August. Jordan's now won four of his seven fights in the UFC.
UFC 182 takes place from Las Vegas on Jan. 3, headlined by the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship bout between Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier.
