An exciting featherweight matchup has been tapped as the co-main event for this December's Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale event in Las Vegas, as Charles Oliveira will take on Jeremy Stephens.
Oliveira has been re-booked after getting pulled at the last minute from UFC Fight Night 50 earlier this month. He was set to rematch Nik Lentz on that card, but illness affected his weight cut, and he ultimately came in at 150 lbs. He pulled out the day of the event due to further complications with that illness.
The 24-year-old Brazilian has won his last two fights, submitting Andy Ogle and Hatsu Hioki in back to back fights.
As for Stephens, he'll look to rebound from a streak-ending loss to Cub Swanson in a Fox Sports 1 main event from earlier this summer. That halted his three fight winning streak, which included two straight after dropping to 145 lbs.
The TUF 20 Finale airs live on Fox Sports 1 on Dec. 12, and will be headlined by the TUF tourney finals to crown the first ever Women's Strawweight Champion.
