Though UFC 178 was sold more on its heavily intriguing undercard than the main event, Flyweight Champ Demetrious "Mighty Mouse" Johnson was still the top earner on the night, as far as disclosed earnings are concerned, taking home $183,000 for his second round submission win over Chris Cariaso.
That topped a disclosed payroll of $1,223,000 for the event, which also featured big payouts to Conor McGregor ($150K), Donald Cerrone ($126K), Eddie Alvarez ($100K), and Dominick Cruz ($100K).
The Nevada Athletic Commission emailed the payroll figures to MMATorch on Monday, and you can see the full list of contracted payouts below:
