Saturday's UFC Fight Night 54 card in Halifax has lost one of its matchups, as MMAJunkie.com reports that Louis Gaudinot has been removed from a fight with Patrick Holohan on the night's Fox Sports 1 main card.
As of now, no reason has been given for the removal, so it's not clear if it's due to injury or some other reason.
Regardless, the UFC is seeking a replacement opponent on less than a week's notice to keep Holohan on the card. The Irish flyweight made a successful debut in July in his home country, submitting Josh Sampo in the first round.
Here's the card as it stands into Saturday night:
Fox Sports 1 Main Card (10PM ET)
Rory MacDonald vs. Tarec Saffiedine
Raphael Assuncao vs. Bryan Caraway
Yosdenis Cedeno vs. Chad Laprise
Bruno Santos vs. Elias Theodorou
Rob Font vs. Mitch Gagnon
Patrick Holohan vs. TBA
Fox Sports 1 Prelims (8PM ET)
Daron Cruickshank vs. Anthony Njokuani
Jingliang Li vs. Nordine Taleb
Olivier Aubin-Mercier vs. Jake Lindsey
Paul Felder vs. Jason Saggo
UFC Fight Pass Prelims (7PM ET)
Matt Dwyer vs. Albert Tumenov
Pedro Munhoz vs. Jerrod Sanders
