Dhiego Lima was one of the very few bright spots on a dismal Ultimate Fighter 19 season, which made it all the more shocking when he was knocked out by Eddie Gilbert in the TUF 19 middleweight finals in July.
He'll return to action in his natural weight class in November, as the UFC announced this week that he's been tapped for a fight against Pawel Pawlak at UFC Fight Night 56 in Brazil on Nov. 8.
Lima's loss to Gordon snapped a three fight winning streak, and dropped him to 9-2 overall in his career. He'll try to pick up his first UFC win against Pawlak, who is also seeking his first UFC win after a May loss to Peter Sobotta in his debut. That loss was the first in his 11-fight MMA career.
The UFC Fight Night 56 card is expected to air on Fox Sports 1, and will be headlined by a five round light heavyweight bout between Mauricio "Shogun" Rua and Jimi Manuwa.
