A lightweight bout between Joe Proctor and Yancy Medeiros is on its way to The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale, which will hit Las Vegas on Friday, Dec. 12.
The UFC announced the matchup on Thursday, the first official bout set for the card.
Proctor, who entered the UFC out of only live season of TUF in 2012, has won three of his four UFC bouts thus far, including two straight into this event. In his most recent fight in July, Proctor took out Justin Salas by TKO.
As for Medeiros, the 27-year-old Hawaiian finally secured his first official UFC win in his last fight, as his previous Octagon victory had been overturned by a failed drug test for marijuana. But that last fight gave him an impressive highlight reel win, as he caught Damon Jackson in a reverse bulldog choke for the submission win at UFC 177.
The TUF 20 Finale card will air live on Fox Sports 1, and will feature the first ever Women's Strawweight Championship fight to conclude this season's tournament.
