"We are aware of the situation and are in the process of gathering the facts. We understand that there is a legal process that will now take place and that Nick Diaz will have the opportunity to address the situation in the near future."
As of now, Diaz remains scheduled for a fight with Anderson Silva at UFC 183 this January.
Penick's Analysis: Again, I don't see the UFC disciplining Diaz, much as they didn't hand out any discipline to Jon Jones for his DUI arrest. They're not going to do anything substantial that would take the Silva fight off the table. I just don't see it happening, even if it's something that should breed disciplinary action.
