Another featherweight victor from UFC Fight Night 49 is making a quick turnaround, as the UFC announced on Thursday that Max Holloway is stepping in against Akira Corassani at UFC Fight Night 53 in Stockhold.

Holloway follows Chas Skelly, who also won last Saturday night and will fight next week at UFC Fight Night 50.

The 22-year-old picked up a dominant win over Clay Collard on Saturday's main card, and now steps in for the injured "Korean Zombie" Chan Sung Jung in October.

He'll put a three fight winning streak on the line against Corassani, who hopes to bounce back from a TKO loss to Dustin Poirier back in April.

The bout will take place on the UFC Fight Night 53 card, which hits Stockholm on Oct. 4 with a main event between Gunnar Nelson and Rick Story. The event airs live in the U.S. on UFC Fight Pass.

Penick's Analysis: This is a nice move up the ladder for Holloway, and a solid replacement fight for Corassani. Stylistically it should be an entertaining matchup, and it's a good test for Holloway after a one-sided showcase win over a newcomer.
