Anthony "Rumble" Johnson wants to fight Alexander Gustafsson, so as the former UFC Title Challenger continues to sit on the sidelines saying he's not fighting until getting his title rematch, Johnson's getting slightly irritated.
To that end, Johnson took to social media on Wednesday to call Gustafsson out, making a quick case for why the fight makes sense.
"I respect you as a fighter but this is business," Johnson wrote on Facebook. "[Dana White] said our fight makes sense. There's nobody left for us to fight plus the fans are begging for us to fight so let's give the fans what they wanna see!"
Penick's Analysis: This is absolutely a fight that makes sense, though the UFC could also keep them separated simply to preserve them both as title challengers. That said, with Jon Jones vs. Daniel Cormier now not happening until January, Gustafsson should fight. If not, it's going to mean a year out of the cage, and then he's not as fresh in the minds of fans as he would be with a win this winter.
