The UFC is still in negotiations with Gina Carano to bring her in for a fight with Ronda Rousey, but Dana White said on Saturday night that things are still not quite there yet.
He wouldn't go into details at the post-fight press conference, and made it clear he's still positive he can get something done, but it's not all that simple.
"It's complicated," he said. "It's going very positive, but it's complicated."
If they lock her up to a deal, the former "Face of Women's MMA" will return to action for the first time in over five years.
Penick's Analysis: With Carano still acting, and in the midst of some current projects already, there's likely studio considerations that need to be worked out to get her into a fight. When she could potentially suffer damage that delays filming, that's going to lead to issues, so it's something that would have to be figured out to make it happen.
