The UFC 171 card in Dallas this March is starting to fill out, as the UFC announced two new fights for the card on Saturday.
First up is a fight between Thiago Silva and Ovince St. Preux, a fight which had initially been targeted for UFC Fight Night 35 in January. Silva was removed from that fight shortly after it announced, but they've kept it together for the March 15 event.
Silva's entering on a two fight winning streak in 2013, where he knocked out Rafael "Feijao" Cavalcante and defeated Matt Hamill by decision. St. Preux has won both of his fights in the UFC thus far, most recently knocking out Cody Donovan in August.
The other fight announced for the card in Dallas pits Ultimate Fighter 17 competitors Bubba McDaniel and Tor Troeng against one another. Both fighters lost decisions in their last outings, McDaniel to Brad Tavares in August, and Troeng to Rafael Natal in September.
UFC 171 takes place from Dallas, Texas, on March 15, headlined by the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship fight between Jon Jones and Glover Teixeira.
