By: Jamie Penick, MMATorch Editor-in-Chief Earlier this week Jason MacDonald revealed that he would get back into action at UFC 97. He said that he had signed a bout agreement but would not reveal his opponent at that time. Well today MMAWeekly.com reports that MacDonald's opponent will be Nate Quarry. Both Quarry and MacDonald will be on the rebound after losses in their last bouts, Quarry to Demian Maia and MacDonald to Wilson Gouveia. MacDonald also suffered a loss to Demian Maia in 2008. The two will now look to get back on track in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on April 18th at UFC 97 on pay-per-view.
Penick's Analysis: Despite the fact that both men are coming off of losses this is going to be a fun one to watch. With both fighting Maia last year it will be interesting to compare how both fared, as they were ended the same way by Maia in their respective fights.
