By: Jamie Penick, MMATorch Editor-in-Chief The March 7th UFC 96 event from the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio, continues to take shape with the addition of another lightweight bout. Ultimate Fighter season eight vet Shane Nelson will be getting into his first Octagon action outside of the members of the show when he takes on Aaron Riley. MMAWeekly.com confirmed the bout on Tuesday.
Riley of course is coming off of a unanimous decision victory over Jorge Gurgel at UFC 91 that earned him a "Fight of the Night" bonus. Nelson himself just defeated George Roop by decision at the Ultimate Fighter eight finale. He was eliminated on the show by eventual lightweight winner Efrain Escudero.
