There have been a couple more changes to the undercard of the UFC's Fox Sports 1 debut in Boston this August, as both Nick Ring and Akira Corassani have been pulled from their fights on the card, replaced by Josh Samman and Steven Siler, respectively. The changes were reported Monday by TheMMAReport.com.
Samman steps in against the man he was expected to meet in the finals of The Ultimate Fighter 17, before losing to Kelvin Gastelum in the semifinals, Uriah Hall. The middleweights wanted to fight each other while in the house, and will finally get their hands on one another on August 17.
Siler takes Corassani's spot against former WEC Champion Mike Brown. Siler is entering off a big win in April, where he bounced back from his first UFC loss with a strong fight against Kurt Holobaugh. Brown returns to the cage for the first time since May of 2012. He's gone 2-2 in the UFC since the WEC was folded in.
The UFC's Fox Sports 1 debut card takes place from the TD Garden in Boston, Mass. on August 17, headlined by the light heavyweight bout between Chael Sonnen and Mauricio "Shogun" Rua.
