"My biggest concern right now is [Gegard] Mousasi. That’s my biggest focus. It's the only thing I think of right now. I don't really think about [being No. 1] that much. I’m going to grab the mic from whoever has it after the fight and I'm going to challenge the champ after this fight, so let's see what happens. No more Mr. Nice Guy. No more running. It's time… I'm not a decision guy. I want to finish guys. That's what I did before, and that's what I want to get back to. It's going to be a finish for sure."
-Alexander Gustafsson talks to Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour about his plans for Gegard Mousasi at UFC on Fuel 9, and what he's going to do afterward.
Penick's Analysis: If Gustafsson stops Mousasi and calls out Jon Jones after the fight, the UFC should just give it to him. He's normally so stoic that the image of that alone will be a fantastic contrast, and given the less than stellar fight that Lyoto Machida had against Dan Henderson, Gustafsson would be new blood against Jones. He's got to get past Mousasi first, of course, but if he does so in exciting fashion there's a good chance he'll get that shot.
