"I feel like I am the best fighter in the world. I am the most dangerous unarmed woman in the world and it doesn't matter what situation I'm in or how anxious I am, or if it's in a pond or a field or if I found about it today or if I've been preparing for it for 10 years. I'm still going to be the best fighter in the world on any given day."
-UFC 157 headliner Ronda Rousey talks to Dan LeBetard on ESPN2's Dan Le Batard is Highly Questionable on Friday (video HERE).
Penick's Analysis: Rousey's confidence in her skills is one of the attributes that allows her to do what she does. Given the struggles she had throughout her adolescence, she's made up for it with a vicious skill set and a confidence that only comes with being able to do just what she does. Liz Carmouche is no joke as a fighter, but it would be surprising if Rousey doesn't come out on top on Saturday at UFC 157, and her belief in what she can do in the cage is a huge part of that.
