One of the more intriguing matchups on the UFC 155 card is no more, as Gray Maynard has suffered an injury, taking him out of a fight against Joe Lauzon on the card.
The UFC announced the injury removal on Wednesday, and also revealed that Jim Miller will return to action as his replacement to face Lauzon.
Miller will hope to bounce back from his loss to Nate Diaz in May, which earned Diaz a title fight against Ben Henderson next month. That loss was the first time he had ever been submitted in his MMA career.
Lauzon gets back into the cage off a submission win of his own, having stopped Jamie Varner in August in a fantastic "Fight of the Year" candidate.
UFC 155 is headlined by a Heavyweight Championship bout between Cain Velasquez and Junior dos Santos.
