Four fighters earned an extra $40,000 for their efforts in Macau, China, on Saturday, as "Fight Night" bonuses for UFC on Fuel 6 were handed out to Cung Le, Thiago Silva, Takanori Gomi, and Mac Danzig.
The "Knockout of the Night" and "Submission of the Night" came by default, as there was only one option in each category. That's not to say each finish wasn't worthy on its own, but the first seven fights on the card all went the distance.
That streak was snapped by Silva, who earned the "Submission of the Night" for his third round arm triangle choke over Stanislav Nedkov in the night's co-main event. It was his first official win since defeating Keith Jardine in 2009.
Le then picked up the only other stoppage on the card in the night's main event, taking the "Knockout of the Night" honors for his vicious first-round knockout of Rich Franklin.
"Fight of the Night" went to the close split decision between Takanori Gomi and Mac Danzig on the night's main card. Gomi took the win, but it was a very closely contested fight that could have gone either way.
