Though he's lost three straight fights in the UFC, and four of his last five overall, featherweight Leonard Garcia is getting another fight in the Octagon. The UFC announced on Saturday that Garcia will return to action at UFC 155 this December, taking on Cody McKenzie.
Garcia is 3-6-1 in his last ten fights, but those three wins all came by split decision in fights most felt he should have lost. Yet he's getting one more shot in the Octagon, fighting for the first time since a decision loss to Matt Grice in June.
McKenzie fights for the second time in the featherweight division, and is also in desperate need of a win. The Ultimate Fighter 12 contestant has lost three of his last four fights, including his featherweight debut, where he was crumpled by a body punch from Chad Mendes at UFC 148.
UFC 155 comes to Las Vegas on Dec. 29, and is headlined by a Heavyweight Championship rematch between Junior dos Santos and Cain Velasquez.
