Though UFC President Dana White has continued to push the idea of an Anderson Silva vs. Jon Jones super fight, the UFC Middleweight Champion continues to insist that's not a fight he's interested. Indeed, the super fight he remains focused on is with UFC Welterweight Champion Georges St-Pierre, which could come in the spring if St-Pierre defeats Carlos Condit next month.

Silva talked about the two matchups on Saturday night after taking out Stephan Bonnar at UFC 153, and said he sees St-Pierre as the easier fight for him at the moment, if only slightly.

"I'm old, guys," Silva said at the post-fight press conference (via ESPN UK). "I'm getting old. I'm retired. I'm nearly there. I've only got another five years."

"I think [GSP] would be a great challenge for me. I prefer him over Jon Jones. He's smaller. It'll be a little bit easier. I'll be hit less."

Penick's Analysis: Here's Silva once again changing up the amount of time he's got left in the sport. A few weeks ago he said he had two or three fights, but of course that's just what's remaining on this current contract with the UFC. The two sides will negotiate a new deal in short order, and Silva will get a lot of money from the UFC to continue fighting for a considerable time. A fight with St-Pierre is certainly "easier" from a matchup standpoint than Jones, mainly because of the size differences. Silva has the advantage over St-Pierre, while Jones would hold it over him, so in that respect it would be a very different fight for "The Spider." Still, "easier" than Jon Jones doesn't mean an easy fight, and St-Pierre would be the most superior grappler that Silva will have faced in his UFC career if that fight comes to fruition. Either way, I want to see both fights, but for now Silva is concentrating on GSP.
