"I've never been the most confident person, but I know when I'm locked in the cage with someone trying to kill me, I fight my f***ing ass off... I'm always going to be a big underdog, and when I get in there, I'm going to f***ing fight like I always do. I go after him. That's just me... There's a lot less pressure, but it's not like I'm going to quit. It's not like I'm going to be, 'Oh, I'm hurt, I'm going to lay down and curl up.' F*** no."
-Stephan Bonnar talks to MMAJunkie.com about leaving everything in the cage against Anderson Silva on Saturday night at UFC 153.
Penick's Analysis: Silva's definitely going to need to put Bonnar away, because Bonnar's making it clear he's coming for a fight. Whether he's out-classed skill-wise in the cage or not, Bonnar will put on the best performance he can, and that's really all anyone can ask of him on Saturday night. He's going to do what he can to not make things easy for Silva in Brazil, and he will try to pull off one of the bigger upsets we'll have seen in the sport on Saturday night. Still, whether he pulls off the upset or not, Bonnar's really got nothing to lose.
