The main card is set for the UFC's return to Minneapolis this October, as the UFC officially confirmed the top four bouts for the event on Tuesday. Joining a five round main event between Travis Browne and Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva will be the featherweight bout between John Dodson and Jussier "Formiga" da Silva, a heavyweight bout between Matt Mitrione and Rob Broughton, and a welterweight bout between Josh Neer and Justin Edwards.
"Travis Browne is undefeated in his career and wants to prove that he's ready for a shot at the title," UFC President Dana White said in a release for the event. "He's got a tough test in front of him in 'Bigfoot' Silva, who's beaten two former UFC champions and also finished Fedor. I'm excited to finally get back to Minneapolis and I'm confident this card is going to deliver for the fans at the Target Center!"
Tickets for the event go on sale to the public on Friday, priced between $50 and $175. UFC Fight Club members get their first crack at tickets on Wednesday, with UFC Newsletter subscribers getting a presale on Thursday.
The card will be the UFC's first in Minneapolis since UFC 87, which took place from the Target Center in August of 2008.
