Donald Cerrone has gotten his wish to fight in Denver at UFC 150 next month, as Melvin Guillard has agreed to a quick turnaround to face him in less than a month in a lightweight bout.
Guillard fought just last weekend, defeating Fabricio Camoes by decision on the FX prelims of UFC 148, a win that snapped a two-fight losing streak. He'll now take on Cerrone, who has re-emerged as a serious force in the lightweight division.
After a disappointing performance at UFC 141 against Nate Diaz, a bout in which he dropped a decision, Cerrone returned to form in his last fought, dominating Jeremy Stephens through three rounds at UFC on Fuel 3 in May.
UFC 150 is headlined by the Lightweight Championship rematch between Ben Henderson and Frankie Edgar, and takes place from the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado, on August 11.
