Rory MacDonald continued impressing fans on Saturday, taking out Che Mills in a one-sided beating to score his third straight win, and fourth overall inside the Octagon.
Mills had a little bit of success early on, but then MacDonald took him to the ground. From there, it became just a matter of time. MacDonald outclassed Mills on the ground, landing some vicious strikes and passing guard with ease.
The sustained beating continued into the second round, as MacDonald scored a quick takedown and went right back to work. After easily securing mount, he continued the beating in both mount and on his back until Mills could only cover up from the assault, forcing the ref to stop the fight.
MacDonald said after the fight he's hoping to stay busy and gain more experience, but he again showed he deserves to be considered among the elite at 170 lbs.
