The UFC is headed to Atlanta this April with a major UFC Light Heavyweight Championship bout between Jon Jones and Rashad Evans. Tickets for the event go on sale to the general public next Friday, February 17, and to kick off the ticket sale the organization will make their presence felt on Thursday, February 16, with a pre-event press conference for the fight.
Free and open to the public, the press conference will take place at 1 p.m. ET in the Luckie Marietta District of downtown Atlanta at Ventanas - located at 275 Baker Street, Atlanta, Ga. In attendance at the press conference will be UFC President Dana White, along with both Jones and Evans in what promises to be an interesting kick off to the hype of this fight.
Tickets for the event will range from $50-$400, and UFC Fight Club members will, as always, get their first crack at tickets on Wednesday, February 15. UFC newsletter subscribers then get an internet presale on Thursday, with the general on-sale date coming Friday.
