...OH, ONE MORE THING - PLEASE BOOKMARK US & VISIT DAILY!
With the UFC announcing an event for August 28, it means they'll be running three cards in a seven day span. It's just the latest example of the UFC's increasingly hectic schedule, so we asked our readers on Thursday whether the frequency of events has them watching more or less UFC cards then they have in recent years. Here's the next batch of responses.
Trey W. (via email): I have thoroughly enjoyed the volume of fights that the UFC has put on since signing with Fox. That's not to say that there haven't been cards that were duds, because there were. The Fox signing also made me start watching TUF again. The production and back-stories that were brought to light were awesome!
MMATorch Forum User BFoe: I don't watch TUF, although I might this season due to Rousey. I watch everything else I can, as I'm a huge MMA fan. I wish I had Fuel so I could watch those events, but unfortunately I don't get the channel. But I watch every FX, FOX, and pay-per-view event. And Bellator on most weeks.
Patrick C. (via email): I definitely watch less than I did last year. I am, however, in law school, not sure if that's a major factor. Aside from that, there haven't been many pay-per-views stacked enough to warrant the $50-60 it costs to watch it at Buffalo Wild Wings with my girlfriend.
Charles J. (via Facebook): I'm more apt to watch the free events, and order the pay-per-views with the bigger fights on them. I still wish I was stationed in Germany, and had AFN where all the UFC pay-per-views were aired for free
Marcques B. (via Facebook): I watch all of the MMA events on cable that I pick up. Since I don't get Fuel TV I watch those events on FOX Deportes (Even though I don't speak Spanish). Ha ha ha ha!
Robert J. (via Facebook): I watch every event I can. I love this sport and cannot get enough. With more events I get to know more fighters and that makes every fight even more interesting. Saturday nights aren't even fun anymore unless there is an event.
