Former professional wrestler and Strikeforce veteran Bobby Lashley returns to action later this month, as he will meet UFC and Bellator vet Eddie Sanchez in the main event of Titan Fighting Championships 19 on July 28.

The event will air live on HDNet from Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Kan., and officials announced the headliner on Saturday morning. Rob Kimmons and James Krause are also expected to compete on the card.

Lashley fights for the second time for Titan FC. His contract with Strikeforce expired after his first career loss - which came against Chad Griggs last August - and Lashley took a spot on Titan's roster earlier this year. He successfully returned to action in March, defeating John Ott by decision, but it was a boring and grinding decision win.

Sanchez looks to bounce back from a rough end of 2010. The six-fight UFC veteran went 3-3 in the organization from 2006-2008, and won four straight fights outside of the organization before dropping back to back fights to Neil Grove and Mike Whitehead.

Penick's Analysis: Sanchez may have lost two straight, but he's a definite challenge for Lashley, and a much higher level opponent in 2011 than some of the fighters Lashley has fought thus far in his seven fight career. That said, no one will be expecting much more out of Lashley than him attempting to use his wrestling to grind out another fight, as that's what he's shown in his last two fights after stopping a couple of guys in a row.
