Jun 24, 2009 - 11:37:41 AM By: Jamie Penick, MMATorch Editor-in-Chief "I would like to make some wild claims about the book...I guarantee – a money back guarantee – that this book will not help your fighting, will in no way better your life or improve your life in any way. Not only that, but I also guarantee that this book will not help your love life in any regard."
-Forrest Griffin, self depricating as always, on his new book, "Got Fight – The 50 Zen Principles of Hand-to-Face Combat," which has made it to the top ten on the New York Times Bestsellers List, currently sitting at #8.
Penick's Analysis: It's this style of deadpan humor from Griffin that endears him to so many fans. I have not had a chance to pick up the book just yet, but it's at the top of my list as from all accounts it's an extremely funny compilation of stories from the former Light Heavyweight Champion. His humor and likeability are what have put this at #8 on the NYT bestsellers list and that's a really cool thing for him and for the sport to have one of the big names in the sport gaining an audience in another venue. It's a further push for acceptance in the mainstream at the least.

But sometimes you get technical masterpieces too, and to hate a beautiful, technical fight - you're not really a fight fan...

Nick Diaz is simply designed to fight the way he fights, and not many other fighters are...
"There was a lot of poison going on around there and I'm really disappointed because we had a good thing going. It was a good thing and I think people's egos got in the way. Well, not people just Javier, his ego got in the way, and too many cameras in the gym and him trying to build himself up and his brand, his AKA brand...
