Jessica Aguilar will make her third appearance in a WSOF cage on Nov. 15, defending her title against Kalindra Faria at WSOF 15.

She's a fight shy of her goal for 2014, and she said this week she'd like to fight more often.

"I was hoping for four fights this year, but obviously we're kind of limited," Aguilar said in an interview with MMAjunkie.com. "I want to fight more. Hopefully next year I'll have more, but we've got to just work with what we've got and make the best out of it. I'm happy. I can't complain. Two years ago I had one fight. I'm really happy for the opportunity to compete and where my future is going."

While she reaffirmed the idea that she "missed out" on the big promotion of the UFC by signing with WSOF just prior to the division being brought in, she says the reality show portion of things wouldn't have been appealing to her anyway.

"Everything will come in its time, and that's the thing I missed out. The reality show and all that stuff, I'm not a reality show girl so I didn't miss that," she said. "I'm more of get to work and fight girl. Everything else will come in its time. I just need to roll with it and keep doing what I'm doing. Keep training and winning my fights."

Penick's Analysis: Aguilar really seems like she's mentally gearing up to make a UFC run sooner than later. She's keeping a positive outlook on her WSOF run, but it almost seems like a bit of a thin veil to not stir the pot very much. If she keeps winning fights, she deserves a spot on the UFC roster, because she's certainly among the best talents in the women's 115 lb. field. If she can win out the fights on her current deal, the UFC should absolutely try to get her on the roster.
