PWTorch.com Assistant Editor James Caldwell is on-site at the Toyota Center tonight, and will be providing results and quick commentary on the preliminary card bouts that will not be aired on tonight's Showtime broadcast. Continue checking here tonight for the preliminary card spoilers.

FIGHT ONE: Artenas Young def. Chad Cook via unanimous decision - Uneventful first round. Flurry from Young in the second round, with Cook hitting the ground repeatedly, drawing boos. Cook didn't want to stand up fight. Cook mainly looked like a cat tentatively pawing at a ball of yarn for three rounds. Artenas barely broke a sweat with Cook.

FIGHT TWO: Chad "Robo" Robichaux def. Humberto DeLeon via split decision - Very competitive first round. More action than all three rounds of the first fight (thanks, Chad Cook). Another very competitive second round. Tension in the building was high in the third round as they had another competitive round. DeLeon had the best chance to win it in the first round, but didn't capitalize on an opening. It ultimately cost him the fight.

FIGHT THREE: Reynaldo "The Truth" Trujillo def. Jose Santibanez via referee stoppage at :30 of the first round. Trujillo caught Santibanez with an early uppercut, knocking him down. He followed up with rights and lefts until the ref stopped the fight. Santibanez was no match here. He came walking by the media section with a "deer in the headlights" look after taking the quick loss.

FIGHT FOUR: Adam Schnidler def. Kier Gooch via submission (rear naked choke) in the first round. It's worth noting Gooch came in with a 1-6 record. While standing, Schindler worked his way onto Gooch's back with a rear naked choke, then he emphatically dropped him to the mat and got the tap-out victory. Make it 1-7.

FIGHT FIVE: Vinicus "Draculino" Magalhaes def. Rocky Long via unanimous decision. Rocky Long had 44 MMA fights coming in. Magalhaes, who appears to be about 40-years-old with gray hair, had two fights coming in, but he apparently sold tickets, as there was a loud contingent for him. Very competitive first round, then absolutely nothing happened in the second round. The fans booed that second round "effort." Very competitive third round and Magalhaes nearly ended it before the final bell. He scored the victory anyways.

FIGHT SIX: Andre Galvao def. Jorge "Macaco" Patino at 2:45 of the third round via strikes - Not a popular decision. After a three-minute feeling-out process in the first round, Galvao was rocked with right hands. He was blown up and out on his feet at the end of the round, barely hanging on. In the second round, he came out throwing desperation right hands, which Patino easily avoided. Somehow, Galvao gained control in the middle of the second round and slowed down the pace to extend the fight to the third round. Even after two rounds. Galvao then did the same in the third round - used his size to take control, then methodically wore down Patino until the ref stopped the fight due to strikes. Patino should have capitalized on the first round domination, which cost him the fight.

FIGHT SEVEN: Daniel Cormier def. Jason Riley via TKO at 0:58. This was a battle of two big heavyweights and Cormier won it handily. 50 seconds in, Cormier landed a sick right hand blow to the face, putting Riley on the mat. Cormier landed right hand after right hand; the ref was slow to put a stop to it, so Riley tapped out, giving Cormier a decisive win.

That's all for the prelims. Make sure to tune into Torch Editor Jamie Penick's live round by round report of the Showtime event as it airs beginning at 10PM ET tonight. For that report, CLICK HERE.
