"The other thing that's scary is, when we talked to [Brock Lesnar's] doctors, this thing that's happened to him he's had for over a year. So the doctor says, 'this guy's been at 60% of his potential.' ... That's a lot fucking scary. He's at 60 percent of his potential? What's going to happen when he comes back?... How much faster can you beat people? How good? There's a lot of questions out there right now and hopefully we can get through this thing."
-Dana White gives some scary words to the heavyweight division in an interview with Steve Cofield of Cagewriter at Yahoo! Sports. The full video interview is below (App Users: video available at MMATorch.com on your Safari browser).
Penick's Analysis: If Lesnar legitimately makes a full recovery from this and what the doctors are saying is true, then we haven't even seen the beginning from Brock Lesnar. If, at 60 percent of his potential, he's done what he has against Heath Herring, Randy Couture, and Frank Mir then there's just no telling how good he could actually become. From the more recent comments on his situation, while he is not out of the woods yet, it appears things are a lot more optimistic than they were just over a week ago. I for one hope we get to see a "100 percent of his potential" Brock Lesnar fight in the UFC. And hopefully he'll be able to make that return within the next six or seven months.

The headlining bout between Phil Davis and Rashad Evans averaged 6.1 million viewers, meaning the peak number for the event will still come in somewhat higher than that. The opening bout between Demian Maia and Chris Weidman was seen by an average of four million viewers...
I am very nervous that Carlos Condit will win on Saturday night, and that I won't be able to fight Nick Diaz this summer. Carlos Condit is a very good fighter, he can strike, he is aggressive and he has submissions...
Georges St-Pierre is the only logical choice for Sonnen, since he's made it clear to the world at large that Anderson Silva wants nothing to do with him. And since everything that comes out of Chael's mouth when hyping a fight can be taken as gospel...
