Penick's Analysis: This is the type of thing to like about Kimbo, for sure. He genuinely comes off as a guy who's likeable and also now who knows his place in the game. The backlash from fans came almost explicitly from the way he was pushed as the face of the sport on CBS by EliteXC and in all reality had nothing to do with Kimbo himself. It was the idea of placing the indentity of this sport into what amounted to a street brawler; and anyone cut from a similar cloth, with the same push, would have gotten a similar reaction. I'm very much excited to see what happens with all the heavyweights on this new Ultimate Fighter starting in September.
