LIVE FROM UNCASVILLE, CONNECTICUT


Fight 1: Featherweight: Desmond Martinez vs. Mike Richman

Round 1
They feel each other out with leg kicks and jabs. Both men are trying to find ther range, and then there is an eye pocl that stops the action. Richman takes a minute and then Big John McCarthy restarts the action. Richman is starting to pressure with his jabs and inside leg kicks. Green fire back and then it looks like his leg buckled. Green drops on his own and gets right back up. His leg looks wobbly and Richman attacks it, but Green catches and takes him down. Green attempts some ground and pound, but Richman gets back up. Richman's nose is bloody, but he is pushing the action. Both man open up and Rich man lands two strong left hooks to Green's head. Green attempts a telegraphed takedown, and the bell rings.

Round 2
They start out like they did in the first round feeling each other out. Green gets Richman on the cage and then down. He works in soe shots and Richman gets back up, but Green tosses him back down. He gets side control and works knees to the body of Richman. Richman is trying to get up and Green stays on him and gets back in side control and lands some solid shots to the head. The bell rings with Green controlling Richman from side control.

Round 3
Richman opens up with a double jab. He is pushing the pace from the center of the cage. Green lands a nice combo and then Richman attempts a guillotine while Green is close. He lets go and lets Green up. Richman is parrying the jab, but not counter punching, and Green is on his bicycle. Richman lands a left to the body, and then stuffs a shot. Green is landing, but Richman is still in the center of the cage trying to pus the pace. Richman lands a straight left and backs Green up a bit.Green is pumping his jab and it lands. Green shoots and is stuffed. Richman attempts to let his hands go, and Green shoots a gain. Richman stuffs, and they go until the bell rings.

Fight 2: Featherweight: Diego Nunes vs. Matt Bessette

Round 1
Nunes wades in with wide punches and backs Bessette up. Bessette then lands a series of leg kicks. Nunes throws a heavy right that misses and Bessette lands a front kick to the chest. He then throws a head kick that just misses. Nunes comes back in with large right that is blocked. They tie up on the cage and Bessette tosses him. He Nunes lands a punch and Bessette slips. v lands an upkick. Nunes jumps in his guard. Bessette goes for a triangle and then an upkick, then another triangle. Bessette kicks from his back and then gets up. Nunes has him against the cage, and Bessette is throwing knees. They break and then Bessette lands a huge kick that knocks Nunes down. Bessette runs in and Nunes gets up and launches a heavy knee that knocks Bessette down. Nunes gets on top and tries to work ground and pound. the bell rings.

Round 2
Nunes goes for a roundhouse, and Bessette returns one. Nunes lands a heavy left, and Bessette walks through it. Bessette is stalking forward and Nunes lets a long combo go while Bessette covers and blocks. Bessette trips and backs up. Nunes trows some heave leather that misses. Bessette lands an uppercut that levels Nunes. Somehow he popped back up. Bessette tried to land another one while Nunes legs were visibly wobbly. Nunes gets back up and comes gets his whits back. he throws a spinning kick combo. Bessette lands another big right hand and then a kick. Both should have put Nunes down, but he locks up to the cage. Bessette throws a heavy leg kick and he locks up and gets taken down and then the bell rings.

Round 3
They touch gloves and move in. Nunes is in the enter and he is trying to find a place for is hooks. Bessette is throwing kicks to keep him at bay. Nunes throws a hook that misses, then a head kick Bessette ducks under and then follows up with a head kick that Nunes dukes under. It looks like they are dancing in a Fight The Musical.They keep exchanging combos and Nunes lands one and Bessette steps back and taunts Nunes. Bessette is bobbing and weaving. They are running in and swinging heavy at each other. Blocks a kick in between hook exchanges. They clinch and Nunes throws a knee to the midsection. Bessette lands a head kick and they clinch. They go until the bell with Bessette landing a kick at the bell.

Fight 3: Light Heavyweight Semifinal: Mikhail Zayats vs. "King Mo" Lawal

Round 1
Both guys feel each other out and do not throw one punch. They both wade in and Lawal goes for a single leg and Zayats goes for a head lock and tries to land shots to the head. They clinch on the cage and Lawal lands a heavy punch to the face tha backs up Zayats. He comes in with another combo that lands. Then repeats. His lazy right hook is landing. Both are evading and the crowd is getting restless, and then Zayats lands a heavy shot. They both move in and Lawal gets the better of the combos they threw. Zayats backs him up and throws a kick that misses. The are picking their shots. Zayats slips and gets back to his feet before Lawal can close the distance. Zayats starts wing heavy combos and Lawal evades until the bell rings.

Round 2
Zayats came in with a right that misses and a leg kick that bends Lawal's knee. Lawal takes the center of the cage and they both try to find an opening the crowd boos and Zayats lands a shot to the mouth and backs Lawal up. Lawal shoots and Zayats stuffs. Zayats shoots again and almost get him down, but Zayats gets up again. We are on repeat and Lawal is seeing more success wit Zayats against the cage. He is back up and Lawal is pushing against the cage. The break and Zayats lands a shot to Lawal’s already bloody mouth. Zayats lands an outside leg kick. The crowd boos again… They clinch and break. Zayats takes the center of the cage and both are feinting for almost a minute. Zayats lands a lone left to the body and the bell rings.

Round 3
Zayats comes in with a combo that ends with a high kick. They are not doing much. Lawal gets Zayats to the cage and down. He lands knees, but Zayats works his way back up. Zayats throws a high kick and misses. They dance and then Zayats throws a spinning back fist that misses. Not a lot happened in that round.

"King Mo" Lawal wins via Unanimous Decision


Fight 4: Main Event Light Heavyweight Semifinal: Christian M'Pumbu vs. Qu9inton "Rampage" Jackson

Round 1
Not much has happened except for taunts and faints. Two minute ins Rampage lets a flurry go that backs M'Pumbu up. They tie up against the cage and switch a couple times. The ref breaks them up. The reset in the middle of the cage. Rampage is testing gis jab and M'Pumbu is fainting. The switch roles. M'Pumbu throws a leg kick. M'Pumbu cant find his range. Rampage lands a big left that puts M'Pumbu and he swarmas and lands some violent rights while on top and knocks M'Pumbu out cold! The ref pulls him off and Rampage stands over M'Pumbu and screams who knows what to M'Pumbu while he is waking up.

Rampage said he is a monster and everyone is going to sleep if they fight him. Then a skirmish almost broke out in the cage.
