The semifinals in Bellator's season nine welterweight tournament are the focus tonight on Spike TV at Bellator 104, which is airing live from the US Cellular Center in Cedar Rapids, IO.
Fight 1: Eric Prindle vs. Peter Graham - Heavyweight Feature Fight
Round 1:
Prindle and Graham feel each other out and Graham lands an out side leg kick. Prindle returns. They clinch and disengage. Graham goes outside and then inside with a spinning back kick. Prindle attempts a spinning back fist. They clinch and Prindle punches as Graham backs out. Prindle steps in with a left right combo that misses and Hraham keeps his distance and throws leg kicks. Prindle clinches but he does not attempt to take him down. Graham with another series of leg kicks. Prindle keeps clinches again and Graham avoids damage. Prindle moves in and Graham lands some strikes and gets Prindle down. Graham is in side control striking and Prindle gets half guard. Graham postures and unloads opening a big cut on Prindle's forehead. Prindle makes it back to his feet with blood covering the right side of his face.
Round 2:
Prindle comes in and Graham is game with elbows. Graham lands a bunch of combinations but Prindle will not go down. Prindle is gassed, but he is firing back. Graham is back to leg kicks and then a big standing elbow. They are trading shows intermittently as both men are tired and breathing heavy. Prindle stops and gives Graham a high-five and they continue there slow motion boxing match. The crowd is restless as the second round is ending. Graham is less effective with his strikes and Prindle shoots. Graham defends in a tired manner. Graham lands that right elbow again.
Round 3:
Prindle throws a combo that ends with a head kick that misses. Graham is throwing incredibly lazy leg kicks that Prindle walks through to grab the clinch. Dan Miragliotta has to remind them to keep their hands up. Graham lands a strong right hand, but nothing comes of it as they are both losing power. Graham lands another big right hand but he does not follow up. Prindle throws a combo that does not land. Dan Miragliotta lets them know that there is only two minutes left so they continue the action.Graham throws a head kick that misses and Prindle throws another high-five. Prindle gets dropped by a front kick right at the buzzer and pops right back to his feet. he is saved by the bell according to Dan Miragliotta.
Peter Graham defs. Eric Prindle via unanimous decision.
This was the slowest kickboxing match I have seen in awhile. They were gan, but they just did not have enough in the tank.
Fight 2: Kendall Grove vs. Joe Vedepo - Middleweight
Round 1:
They touch gloves and both men throw combos and evade. Vedepo shoots for a single leg and Grove defends. They are clinched with Grove on the cage and they exchange until Grove gets out. Vedepo keeps backing Grove up with pinches that are missing. Grove lands a sharp combo that drops Vedepo. Groove attempts a knee but Vedepo scrambles to a takedown and Grove throws up a triangle. Vedepo escapes and Grove goes for an arm bar and Vedeporols out. Grove scrambles and lands on top. Grove takes his back and throws up another triangle. Vedepo defends and is in Grove's guard as the bell rings.
Round 2:
Grove keeps Vedepo at range. Vedepo shoots and takes Grove down. Grove attempts a submission but Vedepo takes his back and Grove gets out. They are standing and Vedepo shoots a sloppy takedown and Grove lans on top. Vedepo throws up kicks that miss and Grove gets high mount. Grove transitions to side control and Vedepo takes control and then both are back to their feet. Vedepo shoots and Grove switches and land strikes on top until the bell rings.
Round 3:
Vedepo shoots and Groove defends. Grove grabs the clinch and lands a knee. Grove lands a right and a head kick that grazes and cuts his cheek. Vedepo gets grove on his back and Grove goes for an arm bar and Vedepo goes for a standing rear naked choke after a short scramble. Grove takes Vedepo down and is working in his guard. Vedepo gets up and throws hook combinations and gets Grove back down. Grove rolls him for an arm bar and then switches to a triangle and the bell rings.

Fight 3: War Machine vs. Ron Keslar - Welterweight Tournament Semifinal
Round 1:
War Machine comes in with a combo and Keslar takes him down. Keslar gets a hook in and tries to sink in a rear naked choke. Keslar's back is to the fence and War Machine shits and tries to use the fence to escape. Keslar is peppering him, and War Machine is throwing look away punches. War Machine stands up and Keslar stays on his back and goes for the choke. He gets his arm under his neck and chokes War Machine out.

Fight 4: Rick Hawn vs. Brent Weedman - Welterweight Tournament Semifinal
Round 1:
Weedman comes in and clinches Hawn. He attempts to toss Hawn (bad idea), and Hawn reverses and takes Weedman down and strikes. Hawn lands a big right hand and it drops Weedman. Hawn gets in Weedman's guard and lands some strikes. Weedman gets up and Hawn steps off. They exchange combos with Hawn getting the better of him. Weedman keeps faking a superman punch that puts hi in Hawn's range. Weedman lands a left. Hawn unloads a five punch combination and Weedman then throws a high knee and a body kick. Weedman sidekicks Hawn's knee. Weedman throws a lunging uppercut that misses. Hawn clinches and Weedman turns him to the cage.
Round 2:
Weedman lands a kick to Hawns face. Weedman tries to take Hawn down and he defends from one leg. He hops out and then Hawn jabs in. He is working short left hands. Weedman keeps stepping in. Hawn is winning the exchanges while Weedman is trying to keep Hawn at range with his kicks. Hawn is getting in and out. Hawn lands a strong overhand right. Weedman is winning this boxing match. The bell rings.
Round 3:
Weedman misses a head kick. Hawn throws a spinning back fist. Weedman goes for a guillotine, and Hawn uses it to take him down with in inside trip. They get back to their feet and Hawn is landing better combinations. Weedman lands a right hook as Hawn ducks down. Weedman tries to mix up his strikes but the bell rings with Hawn evading.
Rick Hawn defs. Brent Weedman via unanimous decisions.
