Bellator's fifth season bantamweight tournament field is set, and the eight-man tournament will kick off on September 24 at Bellator 51, the organization announced this week.

No city or venue has been announced for the card, but the four tournament quarterfinal bouts will air live on MTV2.

Bellator's current Featherweight Champion Joe Warren and former Featherweight Champ Joe Soto will each take part in the bantamweight field, as will former WEC Bantamweight Champion Chase Beebe. The quarterfinal matchups are set with Joe Warren vs. Alexis Vila, Eduardo Dantas vs. Joe Soto, Ed West vs. Luiz Nogueira and Marcos Galvao vs. Chase Beebe.

"To say our Season Five Bantamweight tournament is stacked is a gross understatement," said Bellator Chairman and CEO Bjorn Rebney. "Warren-Vila is going to be absolutely explosive for as long as it lasts, and the inclusion of Dantas, Nogueira, Chase, Soto, Ed and Luis makes every single fight in this tournament a pick'em adventure. This should be an unbelievable tournament for our fans watching live on MTV2."

Before Warren enters the tournament field, he'll defend his Featherweight Championship against season four tournament winner Patricio "Pitbull" Freire at Bellator 47 next month. Warren defeated Freire by decision in their first meeting in the finals of season two.
