Last Friday's Bellator 122 event drew an average of 582,000 viewers to Spike TV, peaking with 807,000 viewers during the night's co-main event between Brett Cooper and Brandon Halsey.
Spike TV released the ratings figures on Tuesday morning.
The event was the last put together under the previous regime, and the second of two "Summer Series" cards from the organization. It featured two tournament finals bouts, with Andrey Koreshkov and Halsey earning victories to set up a future title fight.
Penick's Analysis: The numbers aren't really surprising or disappointing, as there were just not really any expectations for the event. It didn't have a bunch of known names, it didn't receive much promotional muscle behind it on Spike in advance, and it was the last card put together with Bjorn Rebney at the helm. They're now turning their focus to Sept. 5, which is going to be an interesting night from a numbers standpoint with the UFC airing head to head.
