Wednesday's episode of "Fight Master: Bellator MMA" saw an uptick in ratings from last week's debut. Without a Stanley Cup Finals game going head to head with it, episode two of Fight Master brought in an average of 545,000 viewers.
That's a 26% increase from last week's debut, but well below what the UFC's Ultimate Fighter was drawing for Spike TV at the end of their run on the network in 2011. The show drew a .5 rating amongst men 18-49, and a .4 in the men 18-34 demographic.
This week's broadcast featured several more opening round fights, with coaches Joe Warren, Greg Jackson, Randy Couture, and Frank Shamrock lending commentary to the proceedings and the fighters choosing between them afterward.
Next week's third episode will complete the opening round fights, and the teams will then be set, with four fighters competing for each coach and the competition moving onto the next phase.
