Strikeforce has added two more bouts to their April 1 Strikeforce Challengers 15 event from the Stockton Arena in Stockton, Calif.
The event, headlined by the lightweight bout between Justin Wilcox and Rodrigo Damm, will now also feature a lightweight bout between James Terry and Conor Huen as well as a welterweight bout between Damian Douglas and Wayne Phillips. All four fighters are California natives.
Terry brings a 9-2 record into this bout, his sixth under the Strikeforce banner. He's posted a 4-1 record inside of the Strikeforce cage, with the sole loss coming at the hands of Tarec Saffiedine by decision in February of last year.
Huen returns after a layoff of slightly over nine months, and looks to rebound from consecutive losses. Huen was out of action for an entire year after a decision loss to Jorge Gurgel in his Strikeforce debut in June of 2009, and suffered a second straight loss by decision when he was defeated by K.J. Noons last June.
Douglas, the fraternal twin of fellow Challengers 15 competitor David Douglas, brings a 3-1 record into his Strikeforce debut, and his first fight in two and a half years. He meets the 5-3 Phillips, who has won two fights under the Strikeforce banner.
Strikeforce Challengers 15 airs live on Showtime, and tickets are on sale now for the event.
