Bellator Fighting Championships is on the heels of their second fight season. Last year, season one's tournaments played out in an exciting fashion and established Bellator's champions. The fight promotion gained a lot of buzz when the future classic bout of Toby Imada vs. Jorge Masvidal ended in an inverted triangle that would become the submission of the year. (Link to Submission!) At the close of season one it was clear that this inventive and unexpected submission would be come symbolic of Bellator's entrance to the market.

I interviewed Bellator CEO Bjorn Rebney about the upcoming season, the tournament structure, and their broadcast and sponsorship deals. This exclusive interview highlights a CEO that is not only a business man, but a hardcore fight fan. When an entrepreneur has a vision it is hard to stop them. When an entrepreneur/MMA fan has a vision, you get Bellator.
