-In a bonus edition of Bane's Legal Take this week, Michael Bane breaks down the order issued by judge Karen L. Suter in New Jersey granting Bellator's injunction request against Rampage Jackson. Excerpt: “Suter points out that Jackson's contract is an exclusive deal with Bellator, in that he could only compete in the world of MMA under their banner. And as Jackson is a unique commodity within the MMA world in his name recognition and popularity, his loss from Bellator's stable of fighters, particularly to their biggest competitor, is a significant blow to Bellator. -Anderson Silva's disciplinary hearing with the Nevada Athletic Commission has been pushed back another month, as he's allegedly still conducting independent lab tests which he hopes to use in his defense when that hearing ultimately takes place. More on that situation on the mobile site now.
-In some new fight bookings, Frank Mir vs. Todd Duffee will headline the UFC Fight Night event in San Diego on July 15, while Matt Brown vs. Nate Diaz has been announced for UFC 189 in Las Vegas. Additionally, T.J. Dillashaw's targeting a July return, and the UFC has even considered re-booking his rematch with Renan Barao on that already stacked UFC 189 card.
