3/4 NIGHT UPDATE

If you're tuning in to the App for the first time in a while, make sure to check out the big update on the App's home page for notes and information on the changes made to the new mobile site at MMATorch.com in your mobile browser. Keep sending your thoughts in to mmatorch@gmail.com so we can make the mobile site the best experience for you! We truly appreciate the feedback, and we're making changes as necessary. Here's what's on the site tonight:

-In a new roundtable, the crew addressed a potential Ronda Rousey vs. Cris Cyborg fight. Excerpt from Rich Hansen: “How will the fight play out? Regardless of the amount of muscles you have in your arms, bones break, tendons snap, and ligaments tear just the same. Cyborg won't stay on the outside away from Rousey's clinch, and once Rousey gets inside, Cyborg's elbow is going to be screaming out. Kind of like her ballooning up to 175 pounds this week screams out to the world that she's not serious about getting down to 135 pounds; she's just serious about the notoriety. Rousey taps her in the first (minute).” Head to our mobile site at MMATorch.com in your phone or tablet browser for the full roundtable.

-I spoke to RFA headliner Ben Smith this week ahead of Friday's card on AXS TV, and he stressed the importance of his title fight with Tat Romero. Excerpt: “I'm about to be standing on a stage, a platform that usually propels people into the UFC. Very consistently that's what it does for guys," Smith commented to MMATorch this week. "[For] RFA's Champions generally the next step is to go fight the big boys. Obviously that's everybody's dream when they get into fighting, there isn't anybody who doesn't want to fight in the UFC, unless you talk to maybe Ben Askren, but I think that's a lie.” Get the full feature on Smith on the mobile site now.

-Rafael dos Anjos is gunning for the UFC Lightweight Championship next week at UFC 185, and though he's facing a talented Champion in Anthony Pettis, he's banking on the fact that Pettis is certainly not “unbeatable.” Catch his comments on the matchup with further analysis on the mobile site.

-In some shifts to the WSOF schedule, Thiago Silva will now rematch Matt Hamill, and Middleweight Champ Dave Branch will move up to light heavyweight to take on Ronny Markes for the organization's light heavyweight tourney. More on the latest changes on the mobile site.

-Also head to the mobile site for the latest on UFC on Fox 15, which will feature eight fights on network TV.

We thank all of our readers for their feedback and patience as we continue making improvements on the new mobile site. We're an independent voice in the MMA space with no corporate backing, and as such we stay afloat on ad revenue. This shift to the full listing on mobile web brings us a better chance to keep ourselves going and to bring our readers everything we have for the last five years and more, as the mobile advertising market is simply stronger than that on the app. Continue sending us your feedback to mmatorch@gmail.com and let us know how the new features with the Disqus comments section and more are working for you on mobile web!
