3/1 MORNING UPDATE

If you're tuning in to the App for the first time in a while, make sure to check out the big update on the App's home page for notes and information on the changes made to the new mobile site at MMATorch.com in your mobile browser. Keep sending your thoughts in to mmatorch@gmail.com so we can make the mobile site the best experience for you! We truly appreciate the feedback, and we're making changes as necessary. Here's what's on the site this morning:

-Ronda Rousey beat Cat Zingano in just 14 seconds on Saturday night at UFC 184, catching her in a slick straight armlock off an almost inverted omoplata in a quick scramble. The victory was the fastest in UFC Title history, and is tied for the fastest submission in UFC history. After the bout, she said she wasn't impressed with Cris Cyborg's Friday night win at Invicta FC 11, and isn't up for that fight unless Cyborg can make 135 lbs. Additionally, Cyborg may have some time to get down there, as it was revealed after the card that she'll be taking some time off to form a yet-to-be-announced movie role. Head to our mobile site at MMATorch.com in your phone or tablet browser for more on the follow-up of Rousey's latest victory.

-Dayne Fox popped in overnight with his rapid-fire reactions to the pay-per-view event. Excerpt on Rousey's main event win: “There isn't a champion as dominant as Rousey at this point as she has disposed of all of her challengers without ever being in any real danger. She is as close to the modern day Mike Tyson in his prime as anyone. It's hard to say what happens with Zingano. She had a bad game plan, but she still seems to be the second best fighter in the division and no one will be clamoring for a rematch after that ending. Rematch with Miesha Tate?” Get the full column on the mobile site now.

-On top of Fox's piece, Dan Moore is back with his top fights to make after UFC 184, where he gives his thoughts on what should be next for each of the competitors on the event. Excerpt on what's next for Rousey: “Cyborg is obviously the long term answer, but she isn't next, not until she proves she can cut enough weight. Rousey is now on a sabbatical making a movie, but it's very likely she will have enough time to get in another fight or two before Cyborg is ready.” Head to the mobile site for his full column.

-Finally this morning, Rousey was joined by Jake Ellenberger, Tony Ferguson, and Tim Means as “Performance of the Night” winners on Saturday's UFC 184 card. More on how each of them earned their bonuses, with thoughts from Dana White for the fighters who scored exciting wins but didn't get bonus money, on the mobile site.

We thank all of our readers for their feedback and patience as we continue making improvements on the new mobile site. We're an independent voice in the MMA space with no corporate backing, and as such we stay afloat on ad revenue. This shift to the full listing on mobile web brings us a better chance to keep ourselves going and to bring our readers everything we have for the last five years and more, as the mobile advertising market is simply stronger than that on the app. Continue sending us your feedback to mmatorch@gmail.com and let us know how the new features with the Disqus comments section and more are working for you on mobile web!
