1/25 UPDATE

If you're tuning in to the App for the first time in a while, make sure to check out the big update on the App's home page for notes and information on the changes made to the new mobile site at MMATorch.com in your mobile browser. Keep sending your thoughts in to mmatorch@gmail.com so we can make the mobile site the best experience for you! We truly appreciate the feedback, and we're making changes as necessary. Here's what's on the site today:

-Anthony “Rumble” Johnson quieted an announced crowd of 30,000 in Sweden last night, stopping Alexander Gustafsson in the first round to take the No. 1 contender spot in the UFC's light heavyweight division. The UFC on Fox 14 attendance is the second highest in UFC history, and the gate the organization's largest ever in Europe. Additionally, the event drew 2.82 million viewers in the overnight ratings, the highest since April of 2013 with UFC on Fox 7. With Jones up next, the challenger warns the champ to keep his hands up, as he's gunning for a similar finish. Later on in last night, his teammate and former Jones foe Rashad Evans said he thinks Johnson will win that fight by decision. Head to our mobile site at MMATorch.com in your phone or tablet browser for more fallout on Johnson's win, the numbers out of the card, and further thoughts and analysis on it all.

-Alexander Gustafsson was fairly despondent at the post-fight press conference, but he gave Johnson credit for catching him just as he thought he had everything “under control.” Catch Gustafsson's post-fight comments with additional thoughts on the mobile site.

-Newcomer Makwan Amirkhani had a fantastic debut last night, taking out Andy Ogle in just eight seconds. However, UFC commentator Joe Rogan went on a rant on the stoppage being early, ignoring the replay showing Ogle going out from an uppercut, and he took over the post-fight interview with that line of questioning. At the post-fight press conference, Amirkhani said he thought Rogan was a drunk the way he was asking those questions on the fight. See more of his comments with further analysis on the mobile site.

-In another fight ending in what some felt was an early stoppage, Dan Henderson was finished by Gegard Mousasi with a flurry against the cage. Henderson said after he felt like he wasn't given an opportunity in there, both because of the stoppage, and because his eyelid got sliced open early on. Catch his comments on the mobile site with further thoughts.

-Head to the mobile site as well for highlight videos from each of last night's four main card fights.

We thank all of our readers for their feedback and patience as we continue making improvements on the new mobile site. We're an independent voice in the MMA space with no corporate backing, and as such we stay afloat on ad revenue. This shift to the full listing on mobile web brings us a better chance to keep ourselves going and to bring our readers everything we61 have for the last five years and more, as the mobile advertising market is simply stronger than that on the app. Continue sending us your feedback to mmatorch@gmail.com and let us know how the new features with the Disqus comments section and more are working for you on mobile web!
