WEDNESDAY 8/20 MORNING UPDATE

Our tech team has been working on even more tweaks based on your feedback, and have optimized the site for Safari and the default Android browser. -The UFC has finalized the lineup for next month's UFC 178 event in Las Vegas, and the card has so much on it that Dominick Cruz's return will actually be part of the night's preliminary card. Head to our mobile site at MMATorch.com in your phone or tablet browser for the night's full lineup and bout order.

-Frank Hyden today looked at the Good, Bad, and Ugly from last weekend's UFC Fight Night 47 event on Fox Sports 1. Excerpt: “Maynard has nothing left to prove. He's had a good career. He should just retire and be happy training or something if that's what he wants to do. Based off of what most athletes do in this case, I highly doubt he will retire. He'll probably lose a few more fights before he decides he's had enough. I just hope it's not too late for him at that point, health-wise.” Full column on our mobile site now.

-Ben Saunders this week talked about his UFC return, which comes this Saturday at UFC Fight Night 49, and his exit from Bellator. He said his goal as soon as he was done with Bellator was to get back to the UFC, and he's accomplished that in quick fashion. More of his comments with some additional thoughts on the mobile site.
