...OH, ONE MORE THING - PLEASE BOOKMARK US & VISIT DAILY!
TUESDAY 6/24 MORNING UPDATE
If you're tuning in to the App for the first time in a while, make sure to check out the big update on the App's home page for notes and information on the changes made to the new mobile site at MMATorch.com in your mobile browser. Our tech team has been working on even more tweaks based on your feedback, and have optimized the site for Safari and the default Android browser. They're continuing to work on the same for both Chrome and Opera as well. Keep sending your thoughts in to firstname.lastname@example.org so we can make the mobile site the best experience for you! We truly appreciate the feedback, and we're making changes as necessary. Here's what's on the site this morning:
-There's been a shakeup to the UFC Fight Night 48 event in Macau, China, this August, as Hector Lombard has suffered an injury, taking him out of the event. He's been replaced by Tyron Woodley, who hopes to shake off a disappointing performance against Rory MacDonald, and redeem himself against Dong Hyun Kim. More details with further thoughts on the new matchup in the main listing of our mobile site at MMATorch.com in your phone or tablet browser.
-Ronda Rousey takes on jiu jitsu black belt Alexis Davis next week at UFC 175, and this week she discussed how she plans to prove something about both her striking game, and why her judo is superior to jiu jitsu, in the that bout. Catch her comments with further analysis in the main listing.
-UFC President Dana White says he wants the entire cast of The Ultimate Fighter's first season to eventually wind up in the UFC Hall of Fame. See his reasoning with further thoughts in the main listing now.
-Our morning poll today asks readers whether or not they believe Bellator can be a legitimate competitor to the UFC under Scott Coker. 50% don't think the UFC is in any danger of being caught despite a watered down product, 27% think there's at least a slight possibility Bellator competes if enough things fall in place, while the rest believe Bellator can legitimately make a run as a competitor with some changes to the current product. Get your votes in now!
We thank all of our readers for their feedback and patience as we continue making improvements on the new mobile site. We're an independent voice in the MMA space with no corporate backing, and as such we stay afloat on ad revenue. This shift to the full listing on mobile web brings us a better chance to keep ourselves going and to bring our readers everything we have for the last five years and more, as the mobile advertising market is simply stronger than that on the app. Continue sending us your feedback to email@example.com and let us know how the new features with the Disqus comments section and more are working for you on mobile web!
DON'T GO YET... WE SUGGEST THESE MMATORCH ARTICLES, TOO!
